    Arrow PayPal compare to EuroGoldCash

    Dear Members,

I would like to continue discussion about currencies like PayPal and MoneyBookers, in comparison with currencies like Liberty Reserve and EuroGoldCash here, in a separate thread. It was started by Felipe, Haroon132, and me in a wrong thread.
Other members - you are welcome to join us here!
We are discussing advantages and disadvantages of certain types of payment processors over others.
PayPal has adopted Buyer's Protection Policy. It means anybody can lose money he received at any time, in case the buyer of the item makes a complaint to PayPal.
Some say, PayPal judges wisely. How exactly do they judge?
They come to your house, check the item you bought, and announce the sentence, is it good or not?
I don't think they do. There is no way to judge wisely for payment processor. But PayPal just decided to protect buyer against seller.
And many dishonest sellers take advantage of it.
Have you ever heard of a bank returning money to sender just because the stuff it was sent for is bad? It's bad practice, not to mention that it's just stupid.
Therefore, I consider PayPal and MoneyBookers a good refuge for dishonest people and scammers.
That is why many merchants don't want to deal with them.
    Please post your opinions.

Well most of the reports I received from my friends is that Paypal definitely supports the buyers over the Sellers for example if you bought the electronic equipment which the seller is claiming was built in USA but when you received the product and there on the product it is written made in china you will have to upload just the image of it and you can keep both the product and you will also received you payment back as well.it happened to my friend twice

And that´s fair!! Why not refund you if you buy silver at the price of gold??? Sometime ago I bought some voip credits with paypal. But I got less free calls that they promise. Opened just 1 dispute and got refunded after some days
If you´re gonna shop use paypal and if you´re gonna sell bad stuff use other irrevocable PP´s or you´ll be busted

I heard PayPal and eBay are joint companies, so no wonder they promote each other.
A good point is raised here: Who is PayPal to judge sellers and buyers relationships? Payment processor has to guarantee the the payment will reach destination account in time, and that the money are safe. PayPal makes half of its clients happy, while other half is unhappy. What is the point?

Do you think its fair to make unhappy someone who: paid for an item but haven't received it and the seller is uncooperative or nonresponsive or received an item that was significantly different than described before??? I´m sure that paypal investigates any dispute fairly and makes the wisely decisions in 99.99% of the cases

I'm not sure about the 99% thingy, Paypal is run by monkeys & many times the chargeback feature is used as a scamming tool.

I think the buyer has also a responsibility of investigating the seller before sending them their hard earned money instead of giving that responsibility to the payment processor.

For example, there are people who send their money to Nigerian scammers using Western Union & then blame this last & accuse it of supporting the scammers, while they should blame themselves for being naive; Western Union just executed an order they gave!

On the other hand, I think LR & EGC should have a refund policy when it's proven that an account holder is a scammer. I know that they investigate accounts used for scam & phishing & block them, they should also give back any money they find in those accounts to the victims.

I´ve heard that youtube also use their monkeys to solve their technical issues Actually every company in the world are owned by monkeys
And make your investigation is NEVER enough when you´re going to shop online on ebay or elsewhere(you know too much scammers out there) ... that´s why paypal allow chargebacks to protect buyers & sellers... For those who love to sell bad stuff or scam anyone will have no chance in this field..
