Simple vs Fancy

When designing a website, which theme would you prefer?
Something clean and simple? or something fancy with lots of cool stuffs..

Both has their pros and cons, for me I like a clean and simple design as it loads faster and I won't have to bother hearing a complaint that the design is too bright blablabla..

But some people really like fancy design that they think a clean and simple websites are too lazy to design something better.

If we made it fancy one more disadvantage is there that is site will become slow. I observed this in so many PTP forums which are taking more time to load

Simple is much better, firstly it is fast. And secondly, the admin does not have to do much work or getting an editor or programmer.

Website should be simple then the facilities in it should be fancy i mean quick replies from Admin etc. There will be nothing if its looking good and there is no facilities

Simple in design and the look out but must have many features and facilities is good but the first think we must give layout relevant with our destiny.
i mean if want make forum, we must design our sites like forum and if any visitor open our sites, they will know our sites is forum and doesn't other sites

I will definitely go for something neat and clean ... If the colors are good you don't have to worry aout people not liking it.

People now a days are always looking for fast loading site with the Quality Information.they don't care about how fancy the site looks.

If we made some fancy look with the more Softwares and templates then site will load very slowly. For example GA and MF i prefer MF only becuase it will load very fast even with some low speed connection. Even we have some good content in site people won't prefer to browse in site because of time consumption. Color mater only in some cases, i don't mind whatever might be the background and color of the site

I agree with you on this Murali Fancy sites take time to load and sometimes we are in hurry so we need to access site as fast as possible which is why I also like simple site over fancy site design
