    Bank Rates In Your Country

    Dear members!
    What interest rates do your local banks offer for deposits made in USDand EUR?
    What is the basic (main) interest rate in your country?

    I'm gathering this information for one of my websites. You may send me private message with links to the websites.

    I think the normal intrest is 6-7%. I mean you will get 200% amount after 6 years.

    But when you are getting loan from Bank the intrest is 11%

    In average it are 0,5 % in Germany and the bank with the higested earning is offering 3 %. For credits the German banks are carging currenty 5 - 8 %.

    I think it is 4-6% for the savings. Fixed deposits have high rate.

    For me it's 4-6% for Savings account. Though my bank offers only 4%

    I think its for normal deposits. If you have some fixed deposit then the rate of intrest will be more than the rate said by you

    Obviously Fixed Deposits have high interest rate. But the funds are deposited for a long term.

    I think we will get some good rate if we have the funds in the bank for 6 years. I think this is the maximum period that bank people ask

    The maximum rate in Germany we are getting for deposits is 3 % per year and for bigger deposits we are getting up to 7 % per year depending on saving or earning plan.

    I think 7% is some what low as per my knowledge..I think in my normal account i will get 7% intrest for normal money in bank. For fixed deposits we will get more
